Bartlow’s Dread Machine stars a Secret Service Soldier made of tin trying to save Teddy Roosevelt

Set inside an old-timey arcade machine in the early 1900s, Bartlow’s Dread Machine is a classic arcade shooter coming to PC and Xbox One this year. President Teddy Roosevelt has been kidnapped by Anarcho-Satanists and it’s up to his Secret Service agents to rescue him.

Developed by Beep Games and Tribetoy, Bartlow’s Dread Machine is an old school shooter with an emphasis on old school. Players will be fending off tim zombies, mechanical baddies and even clockwork bosses.

The race to save President Roosevelt will take players across the tin United States, all in the name of the American Dream.

Players will be able to play in single-player or couch co-op and will earn tonnes of upgrades as they play. Their characters will earn new weapons, hats and items and have the ability to customise their gender and skin tone.

Unlockabale characters include Marie Curie, Nikola Tesla and, of course. Zombie General Custer.

While it will be released in Spring 2020, Bartlow’s Dread Machine is coming to Steam Early Access in July. The first three worlds will be released, giving fans a taste of the penny-arcade action.
