You can now use Alexa to control your Razer gear

Razer has today announced the addition of Amazon Alexa to Razer Synapse 3 – its cloud-based hardware configuration tool. Alexa is one of the leading voice commands interfaces and now Razer users can ask Alexa to control their Razer PC and Chroma-compatible devices.

For the uninitiated, Razer Synapse 3 is the central software hub where you adjust various aspects of your Razer devices.

It also gives you control of the lighting across over 500 devices across Razer and its third-party partners such as MSI, Thermaltake and AMD.

Razer Synapse – Alexa

The new Alexa module doesn’t require any additional hardware to function. Just update the software and you can start issuing commands through your existing PC or headset microphone.

Razer says users can ask Alexa to activate Chroma Lighting, adjust the volume or open a browser.

Additionally, the Razer Synapse 3 Alexa module gives access to a host of Alexa services and functions, such as real-time news and weather updates, Smart Home controls, Alexa skills, and many more.
