Deep Silver, Volition and Sperasoft have just announced Saints Row The Third Remastered. Not content to be a standard remaster, Saints Row The Third Remastered has been completely overhauled and now includes Physics Based Rendering, completely remade character and weapon models, volumetric effects, Global Illumination and more.

To show you just how good this remaster is going to look, Deep Silver sent us some Saints Row screenshots.

From everything we’ve seen so far of Saints Row — screenshots, video, interviews — the remaster is looking pretty phenomenal. The screenshots above help to give you some idea of how the finished game is going to look and how the ‘exaggereal’ art style has been maintained.
