New Gigabyte AORUS models have Intel 10th Gen, RTX Super and OMRON mechanical keyboards

Gigabyte is joining the rest of the world in unveiling major updates to their AORUS and AERO laptops with the recently unveiled new Intel 10th Gen processors. The new Intel Core i9/ i7 H-series feature 8-core CPU’s and up to 5.3Ghz single-core performance on the high end. The upgrades continue with the introduction of two new GPU’s across the range; the GeForce RTX 2070 Super and 2080 Super.

In addition to upgrading existing models, Gigabyte has launched three new models; the Aorus 17X, Aorus 17G and Aorus 15G. AORUS has worked in an exclusive partnership with OMRON to minimise the size of the switches in order to create the worlds lightest mechanical keyboard.

Gigabyte says the keys offer a great tactile feel and crisp sound feedback.

All new AORUS – Professional Gaming

The models feature three 10th Gen Intel processors; the overclockable i9-10980HK, the first-ever 8-core i7-10875H and the i7-10750H. The AORUS laptops feature 240Hz displays as standard and powerful new RTX Super cards.

The added power makes the AORUS laptops perfect for esports and are G2 Esports CS:GO Certified.

The Aero 15, 17 and Aero 15 OLED and Aero 17 HDR all receive the new processors and RTX Super GPU’s. Additionally, they also benefit from the new WINDFORCE Infinity cooling technology to ensure the highest performance.

AERO get’s even more pro

Now, because the AERO is aimed at creative professionals, the new Nvidia Studio Driver optimise over 40 editing software. The inclusion of Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0 and UHS-II SD Card reader fit perfectly into content creators workflow.

And of course, let’s not forget that the AERO laptops are one of the few to consistently offer a gorgeous OLED panel that’s Xrite Pantone Color Calibrated. The displays are also HDR400 Certified with 100% sRGB colour range.

The new AORUS and AERO laptops are available for pre-order from Gigabyte’s website today. Official sales start from April 16 but the entry-level AORUS 5 and 7 launch later in the month.
