How Long is Ori and the Will of the Wisps?

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is now available for PC and Xbox One and is available on Xbox Game Pass. To find out more about what we thought of the game, you can check out our review here. A sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a bigger game, with a greater emphasis on combat, but no less focus on exploration.

How long it takes you to complete Ori and the Will of the Wisps will depend on a number of factors. For a start, you can choose to play at three different difficulty levels; Easy, Normal and Hard.

The game suggests you start on Normal before attempting Hard, though you’re your own boss, so go for it, if that’s your thing.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Playing on Normal and achieving a clear percentage of 98% took me just over 13 hours. The more you opt to explore and try to collect each and every hidden item, ability and upgrade, the longer it will take you to complete.

There is an achievement for completing the game in under four hours, though I’d suggest attempting this on easy and without searching for any collectibles.

For most players, if you play on Normal, enjoy the story and try to collect most stuff, you’re probably looking at between 10 and 15 hours on your first playthrough. If you play on Hard it’s likely going to take longer and Easy will be shorter.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is available now.
