The third Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 factions is The Baron

Recently, Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have been revealing the factions in the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. The first faction, The Pioneers and the second, The Camarilla, have been revealed. Now a third faction has been announced; The Baron. A reclusive and secretive group this faction is ruled by The Baron.

According to Paradox Interactive, “The Baron rules the criminal underbelly of Seattle. Working through lieutenants, few have actually ever seen the Baron who has hands in nearly every shady deal in the city. This faction employs humans, ghouls, Thinbloods, and vampires which often includes thugs, drifters, smugglers, hitmen, and gang members.”

The exact number of vampires who serve The Baron is unknown. This is due, in part, to very few vampires ever having come face to face with him.

Bloodlines 2 Factions

Functioning similarly to The Soup Kitchen (Bowery King) in John Wick, The Baron recruits the desperate and destitute and gives them a purpose.

Where a less prudent man might turn such capital into a bid for Princedom, he has so far been content to stay in the back-alleys of his turf, hoard favors, and brutally defend his business interests.

The Baron and his devoted followers are not liked by the other factions in Seattle, however, they have their uses. Especially if someone needs something done quickly and quietly.

Seattle’s powerful tell themselves that it’s just as well to further indebt yourself to the Devil you know.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2020.
