Washington Justice, professional Overwatch League team and comeback kids, will be appearing at the Melbourne Esports Open tomorrow, Sunday, September 1, 2019. Despite a rough start to their inaugural Overwatch League season, Washington Justice dominated Stage 4 after the introduction of role lock t the league.
While they didn’t finish in a place to compete in the playoffs, Washington Justice have the honour of being the first League team to compete in an international Contender’s exhibition match.
The match will be held at the Melbourne Esports Open and will feature six Justice players teaming up with the winning Contenders team to create two All-Stars teams.

The two All-Stars teams will play a five map mixed exhibition match and will see “DPS-duo Corey “Corey” Nigra and Ethan “Stratus” Yankel, Junhwa “Janus” Song, two of the teams newest recruits, Elliot “ELLIVOTE” Vaneryd and Lukas “LullSiSH” Wiklund, support player, Nikola “sleepy” Andrews, and Assistant General Manager, Aaron “PRE” Heckman” participating in the Melbourne Esports Open festivities.
The two teams vying to be part of this special Contenders exhibition match are ORDER and MindFreak. The Overwatch Contenders Finals will also be held at the Melbourne Esports Open on September 1.
