Fans can own Dumbo in late June

No, not the actual elephant himself, just the movie on DVD and Blu-ray. Disney has announced that from the end of June, Dumbo will be available digitally and on Blu-ray. From early June, Dumbo will be available on DVD.

Dumbo, directed by Tim Burton, is the live-action remake of the classic Disney animated feature film.

Dumbo stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green and Alan Arkin with music by Danny Elfman.

Dumbo Blu-ray

While Dumbo is based on the animated original, there are key differences. This version focuses on Dumbo’s human family, led by Farrell, and doesn’t include many of the animals from the original.

Additionally, while Dumbo never spoke in the original and doesn’t in this version, the animals that did speak in the cartoon have been cut from the live-action film.

However, the heart of the film remains and families can enjoy the story of Dumbo on Blu-ray from June 27. Available digitally the same day, the DVD release comes July 10.

Special features included in the home release are;
