Operation Phantom Sight
In Operation Phantom Sight, alongside the two new Operators, Ubisoft has reworked Kafe Dostoyevsky. The changes to the map have been made in order to make it more open.
New Bomb sites have been added to the second floor and the first floor has seen a significant design change. As you approach the Kafe, from the outside it looks much the same as it did before.
On the first floor, the most obvious changes have been made at the north entrance. Now, this part of the map features a large, open lobby with “multiple areas to take advantage of.”
On the second floor, the new Bomb sites are located in the Fireplace Hall and Reading Room. The stairs on the second floor, leading from the main entrance have been moved too.
Third floor changed are largely confied to the east. The Cocktail Lounge now has a balcony overlooking the second floor. Opposite, the cigar shop has been given a balcony of its own.
Year 4 Season 2 will also see Reverse Friendly Fire updated and refined based on community feedback and game data. The Ranked Playlist will be overhauled and the game will see a brand-new in-game storefront.
Operation Phantom Sight hasn’t yet been dated but it’s likely the release date is June 11. This is due to the the new content being added to the Technical Test Server for three weeks instead of two prior to release.
Three weeks after the reveal on May 20 puts the release date at on or around June 11.
As usual, Year 4 Pass holders will gain access to Nøkk and Warden early. Other players will be able to purchase the new Operators for Renown or R6 Credits once they become available.
Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
