When Elite Dangerous Beyond Chapter Four launches on December 11, players will have a host of new features to play with.

Chief amongst these is the new Analysis mode. According to Frontier;

A new Analysis Mode, with the improved Exploration Discovery Scanner and Detailed Discovery Scanner, is a game-changing new way for all Commanders to explore the galaxy. After an initial scan of the system, players will then be able to tune their scanners to find stellar bodies and other phenomena.

Frontier goes on to say that the new mode is more realistic and gives players more freedom when it comes to exploring.

Also included in the latest update are new mining tools which can help Commanders find all-new money-making endeavours.  In Chapter Four, “Miners can investigate rings to locate the best spots to start their mining sessions and identify mineral deposits within individual asteroids.”

Commanders will also be able to form Squadrons when Chapter Four launches. This allows like-minded players to band together and support their favourite factions. Squadrons will also be able to take part in Community Goals and vie for the number one spot on weekly leaderboards.

There are plenty of other changes coming with Beyond Chapter Four, so make sure you stay tuned and get ready for its release on December 11.
