After a massively successful first year, PlayStation Australia has announced the return of PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters for a second year. In its first year, PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters offered players the chance to win a real-life Platinum trophy.
To win, players had to be the first to unlock the Platinum trophy in a select list of games. The first of which was FIFA 18, with a player completing the mammoth task in only four days.
In the first year, PlayStation Australia only released the names of the titles in the competition shortly before release. This year, all five games have been announced. I hope you’re ready to grind.
PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters
Back for a second year in the PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters competition is FIFA, with FIFA 19 being released on September 25.
The other titles included in this year’s competition are;
- Call of Duty Black Ops 4
- Fallout 76
- Battlefield V
- Anthem
To win, simply collect all trophies in the listed games to unlock the Platinum Trophy then take a screenshot of the Platinum Trophy and share it on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #PlusPlatinumHunters. Make sure to tag @PlayStationAU as well.
If you’re the first player in the region to unlock the Platinum Trophy, a real-life replica will be on its way to you.

FIFA 19 is available now, Black Ops 4 launches on October 12, Fallout 76 launches on November 14, Battlefield V launches November 20 and Anthem will be available on February 22.
