Throwdown Esports’ Rocket League OCE Championship registration now open

Throwdown Esports is one of the premier grassroots to professional esports communities in Oceania. Providing a pathway for Rocket League teams to compete in the Rocket League Championship Series, Throwdown Esports has announced registrations are open for the Rocket League OCE Championship.

Season Two of the Rocket League OCE Championship is open to teams located within Australia and New Zealand. The Rocket League OCE Championship will run for nine weeks and will conclude with finals taking place on October 14. 

The winners will take away a share of $50,000 USD in the local prize pool and the top two teams will progress to the Rocket League Championship Series. Here, teams will battle for a share of $1 million USD.

Manager of Throwdown Esports George Cordalis said of the event;

RLOC Season 1 was a huge success with over 150 teams taking part, with local teams Tainted Minds and Chiefs progressing to last season’s finals.

I’m sure we will see even more players and teams signing up this season, to test their skills and try to claim the two qualification spots available, and a chance to win part of that huge $1 million prize.
