Rage 2 confirmed by leaked teaser trailer

Rage 2 has been teased this week since Walmart Canada leaked it via a listing. Bethesda responded to the leaked listing both via the official Rage Twitter account and Pete Hines on Twitter.

Rage was originally released by id Software and was hyped due to it being helmed by John Carmack and using the then-new id Tech 5 engine.

Rage 2 has now been all but confirmed thanks to the leaked trailer. Unfortunately, the trailer has been quickly removed, but Wario64 on Twitter managed to capture it in GIF form.

Rage 2 Teaser Trailer

Rage 2 is looking like an over-the-top, post-apocalyptic, neon Mad Max. The teaser trailer is heavy on weird characters and light on gameplay. That is, there’s none.

The teaser trailer is entirely made up of footage of actors, though one brief moment shows a huge troll like creature which may be from the game, though it’s likely it’s just been created for the trailer.

An official announcement for Rage 2 is scheduled for later today.
