Looks like CD Projekt Red is finally going to debut Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2018

It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like CD Projekt Red is finally ready to debut Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2018. While not officially announced, an update to the E3 2018 schedule, confirms the developer will be in attendance.

The official E3 2018 schedule also states that CD Projekt Red will be showing ‘Role-Playing’ on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the long in development RPG which is CD Projekt Red’s next title after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It’s adapted from the board-game Cyberpunk 2020 and the creator of the board game is a consultant.

Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018

Earlier this year it was rumoured that Cyberpunk 2077 would be revealed at E3 2018It’s also been reported that Cyberpunk 2077 will include both first and third-person perspectives. Like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt it will be free from microtransactions and will feature large-scale expansions according to all reports.

Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed using the Red Engine 3, the same engine used for The Witcher 3. It’s also being developed by a team larger than that responsible for The Witcher 3.

A teaser trailer for the game was released in January, below.

Cyberpunk 2077 has no release date at this stage, but it looks like we’ll be getting plenty of info at E3 2018.
