Shadow of the Tomb Raider cover art and special editions leak

Later today we’ll be getting a tonne more information on Shadow of the Tomb Raider as the announcement countdown finally runs out. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like early surprises and today we got one as the Shadow of the Tomb Raider cover art has leaked.

In an image leaked online via Twitter which shows the Shadow of the Tomb Raider cover art and six different editions of the game.

The Shadow of the Tomb Raider cover art also confirms that Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics worked on the title, with both logos appearing alongside Square Enix’s.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Cover Art

In the image above, you can see that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available in six different physical and digital editions.  There is also a few different variations of the cover art, but they all involve an eclipse as mentioned by the official Twitter account.

In fact, one of the cover art variants is the same image used on Twitter, though that was a video with some very tribalistic music accompanying it. In the image we see that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available as;

  • Digital Deluxe Edition
  • Standard Edition
  • Croft Edition
  • Digital Croft Edition
  • Steelbook Edition
  • Collector’s Edition

All of the editions of Shadow of the Tomb Raider seem pretty standard. The Collector’s Edition looks like it includes a statue of Lara Croft, a replica of her climbing axe and either a flashlight or pocket knife. It’s a little hard to make out, but we’ll find out later today when Square Enix officially unveils it.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be officially announced on April 27, 2018 at 11pm AEST (9am ET).
