When Ubisoft announced the post-launch support for Far Cry 5, the inclusion of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition was a big surprise. The Far Cry 3 Classic Edition release date has now been announced, so fans will know just how long they have to wait.

Far Cry 3 was originally released in 2012 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and is now getting a new lease on life with a remastered edition.
Season pass holders for Far Cry 5 will get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition for free and four weeks ahead of the standalone, digital release.
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition release date
Ubisoft announced today on its blog that Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will be available to season pass and Far Cry 5 Gold Edition owners on May 29, 2018.
It will then be released as a standalone title on June 26. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is not yet available for pre-order, nor do we know how much it will cost when it is released.
Far Cry 3 is an excellent addition to the Far Cry series and has an iconic villain in Vaas. Once you’re done with Hope County, maybe you’ll be ready to take on even more insanity.
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will be available on May 29 for Far Cry 5 Gold Edition and Season Pass holders. It will be released on its own on June 26.
