Playdead’s INSIDE is coming to Nintendo Switch

Playdead’s INSIDE will be released on the Nintendo Switch. The developer’s co-founder Art Jensen told Famitsu that a Switch version was in development, though no release date had been scheduled.

INSIDE was released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2016 and received critical acclaim. It was nominated for and won a number of Game of the Year Awards including Best Art Direction, Best Independent Game and Best Game Design.

The plot and ultimate ending of INSIDE have been hotly debated by fans and critics alike. A release for Switch means that the debate will continue once Nintendo fans are able to experience the title.

INSIDE will be Playdead’s first release for a Nintendo platform. The studio teased its new project in January, though no further details have emerged.

INSIDE is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is coming to Nintendo Switch.
