Echonok is the location of Torchlight 3’s third and final act

Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games have announced Echonok as the location for the third and final act of Torchlight 3. Available now in early access on Steam, Echonok continues the story of Torchlight 3, adds new locations and dungeons with tonnes of loot.

This third act will launch on June 30 for all early access players and will allow them to continue to prevent the Netherim from invading. After defeating Sadista, players will need to fight her sister, Veriss, and take the Void Heart.

With the power to merge the human and Netherim worlds, the Void Heart is key to stopping the Netherim.

According to Echtra Games;

Preventing Veriss’ deadly plan from unfolding is not a simple quest to complete; players need to safely navigate the craggy peaks of Mt. Echonok where the Voltura, vile and strange bird-machine hybrid scavengers, have made and viciously defend their homes.

With the fate of humanity at risk, adventurers must brave the new frontier and hack and slash their way to save the human worlds from the evil Netherim once and for all.

Originally developed by Runic Games, Torchlight is a popular action-rpg franchise. The third installment is fast-paced and designed to appeal to fans of the original, while also attracting new fans along the way.

There are four classes to choose from; Dusk Mage, Forged, Railmaster and Sharpshooter, in addition to a multitide of pets to help in combat.

Torchlight 3 is available in early access on Steam.
