The incredible Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers Trailer turns heroes into Warriors of Darkness

Today, during the Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival in Tokyo, Japan, Square Enix released the Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers trailer; and it’s a doozy.

Shadowbringers is the next expansion for Final Fantasy 14 and is bringing a lot of change to the MMORPG.

As the trailer shows, players are going to have to become Warriors of Darkness to save the world.

The trailer opens on a showdown with the Warrior of Light emerging victorious.

After his victory, he stumbles and waders, lost and weary. Eventually, he is attacked by a creature of the Light and has to embrace the Darkness in order to survive.

Shadowbringers is set in the First World and the realm of Norvrandt and is the first time in the game’s history that players will traverse dimensions. In the First World, Warriors of Light need to become Warriors of Darkness in order to restore the night and save the First World from the Flood of Light.

Make sure you check out the Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers trailer and get ready for the new expansion when it is released on July 2, 2019.
