Iron Banner and Prestige Raid coming to Destiny 2 next week

Iron Banner is back baby!

Bungie fired off a tweet this morning that should make Destiny 2 fans very happy.

Bungie’s weekly update also featured a tonne of Iron Banner info.

Iron Banner will begin at 8 PM AEDT, October 10 and finish at 8 PM AEDT, October 17. The match played will be Control and Bounties and Ranks have been replaced with Iron Banner Engrams.

To enter the Iron Banner, you’ll need to have completed the Campaign and have access to the Tower. Once Iron Banner is live, you’ll need to find Lord Saladin in the Tower and begin the Iron Banner Quest.

By playing the Iron Banner playlist you can earn Iron Banner Token every match, Daily and Season Milestones and brand new armour.

Bungie isn’t ready to talk about Seasons just yet, but they will be at TwitchCon.

Prestige Raid

The Prestige Raid will also arrive next week, on Tuesday October 10 at 8 PM AEDT. The Prestige Raid is set at 300 Recommended Power and Bungie has said that there have been minimal changes to the encounter.


Destiny 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version will be available October 24.
