Mafia: Definitive Edition Collectibles Guide – Terror Tales

Mafia: Definitive Edition has been rebuilt from the ground up by Hangar 13. In addition to new visuals, tweaked missions, new gameplay and a game brought into 2020, Hangar 13 has added a number of Collectibles for players to find. These Mafia: Definitive Edition Collectibles are found scattered throughout missions and appear on the mini-map when you get close.

There are eight kinds of collectibles, with 117 comics, cards and postcards to be found, in addition to a number of stuffed foxes.

During missions, when you approach an area with a collectible, it will appear on your mini-map, helping you locate it not miss it as you progress. This guide will help you find and locate all Terror Tales comics.

We’ve listed them in the order we found them. The game lists them in chronological order which isn’t super helpful for finding them as you go.

Mafia: Definitive Edition – Terror Tales

You can find this Terror Tales comic at the farm during A Trip to the Country. You can also collect it during free play but the farm is a long drive from Lost Heaven so you might as well grab it while you have the chance.

During the stand-off in the barn, when you have to protect Sam from goons, once you dispose of them all, you’ll have a reprieve before the police arrive. During this break, you can explore, collect ammo, heal and get ready for the next wave. That next wave begins once you check on Sam so before you do, head downstairs and grab the comic from the crate.

This Terror Tales can only be collected during Omerta. After you speak with Biff in Chinatown, you’ll need to track down Little Tony yo get more information about Frank’s whereabouts. You’ll find him at a bar on Central Island. Head inside and before you speak with him, go around the far side of the bar to grab the comic.

You can only collect this comic during the Great Deal chapter. After things go sideways and you’re attacked by Morello’s goons, you’ll need to fight your way back down the parking garage.

As you move down, you’ll be stopped by fire breaking out and you’ll need to turn on some sprinklers to continue. Right near the valve to turn the sprinklers on is the comic on a table.

During the You Lucky Bastard mission, you’ll be tasked with driving to Sergio Morello’s house and planting a bomb under his car. When you arrive, you need to sneak to the car through a side alley.

In this alley, up the back, near the back wall, is a Terror Tales comic on the ground.

You can only collect this comic during the Election Campaign mission. Inside the prison, after you kill the politician with the sniper rifle, you’ll fall down into a new section. As you make your way to escape, you’ll pass by a guard booth/office.

Head inside to grab the comic off the desk.

This Terror Tales is only available within the Death of Art chapter. As you make your way through the museum, you’ll eventually chase Sam all the way around and back to where you started.

It’s inside an office before you go through a door to start the final battle with Sam.

Out in the countryside, this Terror Tales comic is just south of the farm complex you visit in A Trip to the Country. Head south and when you find an old shack check the porch.

You’ll find the comic near a stool.

You can find this Terror Tales to the west of Fyer Dam on a small shack/lookout.

You need to climb up the side of the shack to reach the deck and the comic is on the ground between two chairs.

This Terror Tales is sitting on a broken down well behind a dilapidated church south of Clark’s Motel. Head around the back of the church and you’ll see the comic.

You can find this Terror Tales comic at Berry Wood Creek on a jetty. From the previous comic, head north along the road until you reach a small lake. Go around the west/right side of the lake and you’ll find the jetty with the comic next to a chair and fishing rod.

You can find this Terror Tales, south of the Fyer Dam at a small shack and jetty located south of the power plant at the dam. You’ll need to make your way down a winding dirt road to reach the shack.

Once there, head out onto the jetty and grab the comic.

At the eastern edge of Beech Hill, there’s a large house on the east side of the street with a driveway that ramps upwards. On the right-hand side as you go up the driveway is a garage.

You can’t get into the yard for this house, but out the front of the garage, next to some garbage cans and near the fence for the property is a Terror Tales comic.

At the centre of Oakwood, to the east of the large roundabout is the Oakwood Church. On the western side of the church is a set of double doors and on the ground in front of them is the Terror Tales comic.

In the very south of the Worker’s Quarter, at about the middle of the landmass, there’s a large inlet that the harbour is built around. Near this inlet is a fenced-off section with a small shack nearby. Inside the fenced-off area are a number of stacks of wood. On top of these stacks, you’ll find the comic.

East of Salieri’s Bar, this comic is located on a dock/jetty south of the rail bridge between Little Italy and Central Island.

Head south from Salieri’s Bar and take the first left turn. You’ll go past a gas station and then you’ll see Paulie’s apartment on your left. Keep going and start to head south as you go out onto the waterfront.

You’ll see several docks and jetties. You want the more southern of the two T-Shaped ones. The comic is on the very end.

In an alley in Chinatown — the same one you chase Morello down during Crème de la Crème — is a Terror Tales comic on the ground. From the main square of Chinatown, head west and then north through this alley.

Another Terror Tales on a jetty, you can get this comic be going to the east side of Central Island. The comic is right at the end of the long L-Shaped jetty which is right underneath the Giuliani Bridge.

Located in Holbrook, just south of the ‘B’ on the map, you can find this Terror Tales comic inside a shelter, sitting on a mattress.

West of the Central Rail Station in the Worker’s Quarter is an industrial area. It’s almost like a maze with a collection of buildings and roads all over the place. From the west side of the rail station, go west, then south once you’re over the road. You’ll need to make your way around the back of a small building to find the comic on the ground near a chair.

In the south-western section of Holbrook Park, you’ll find this comic sitting on an armchair.
