Mafia: Definitive Edition Collectibles Guide – Cigarette Cards

Mafia: Definitive Edition has been rebuilt from the ground up by Hangar 13. In addition to new visuals, tweaked missions, new gameplay and a game brought into 2020, Hangar 13 has added a number of Collectibles for players to find. These Mafia: Definitive Edition Collectibles are found scattered throughout missions and appear on the mini-map when you get close.

There are eight kinds of collectibles, with 117 comics, cards and postcards to be found, in addition to a number of stuffed foxes.

During missions, when you approach an area with a collectible, it will appear on your mini-map, helping you locate it not miss it as you progress.

Mafia: Definitive Edition Collectibles Guide – Cigarette Cards

The first type of collectible you’ll come across in Mafia: Definitive Edition is a cigarette card. There are 22 total cigarette cards in the game and 19 of them can be found within chapters. Only three are found by free-roaming Lost Heaven. Make sure you collect each one while you’re in the mission as many locations become inaccessible outside the specific chapter.

The first cigarette card is for Paulie. You’ll find this inside Salieri’s Bar, on a table inside before you join Paulie to head off to Morello’s Bar to cause some destruction.

The second cigarette card you can collect is for Sam and it takes place during the Ordinary Routine chapter. When you head to the Bakery to collect the protection money and go into the back, before you pick up the envelope, look to your left on a table there.

The third card is found during Fair Play. Right at the beginning of the chapter, head upstairs in Salieri’s Bar — the staircase is accessible now — and go to the right at the top. You should be able to open the door on the right side of the corridor. Go in and in the top right corner you’ll find the card.

The fourth card is also found within Fair Play and is located inside a shed at the race track. You can collect it either before you take the car to be tampered with or after you finish the race.

We grabbed it before we took the car to the mechanic which is why the screenshots are so dark, it’s nighttime in the game. The shed is opposite where you collect the car and it’s on your left hand side after you finish the race.

The fifth card is loctaed inside the abandoned garage you infiltrate during Better Get Used to It. As you’re fighting you’re way through the hoodlums, you’ll most likely notice the dot appear on your mini-map. Don’t worry, it’s located towards the end of the section but make sure you grab it before you go back outside after passing through the interior.

It’s on the counter that’s being used as a makeshift bar.

The sixth card is loctaed in the Hotel Corleone during The Saint and The Sinner chapter. On the second floor, in the top right corner room (after climbing the stairs) the card is located on the bed.

The seventh card is also found within The Saint and The Sinner.

Before you exit the church with Sam, be sure to grab this card which is sitting on a stone bench in the doorway. You can only access the inside of the church during this mission so if you miss it, you’ll need to replay the entire mission again to collect it.

The eighth card is located in the Trip to the Country chapter.

As you make your way down the long driveway of the farm, looking for signs of life, make sure you stick to the right hand side of the road. You’ll see a shelter with some hay bales, tables and junk underneath.

The eighth card is sitting on this table. You can collect this card outside of the mission, but it’s a long drive from Lost Heaven to the farm.

The ninth card is also located in the Trip to the Country chapter but can only be collected after you finish up at the farm. You can also collect this card outside of the mission.

It’s sitting on a pile of wood on the outside of Salieri’s warehouse, at the southern end of the property.

The tenth card is found within the Omerta chapter at the Lost Heaven airport. After you tail Frank all the way there and start to sneak inside, make your way through the first building then head to the left.

Steer clear of the guards or you’ll have to fight your way through and go inside the T-shaped building at the far left. Once you’re through this building, turn right and you’ll see a small courtyard and the card on a barrel.

The eleventh card is located inside the lawyer’s house in Beech Hill in the Visiting Rich People chapter. After you make your way through the hedge maze and take out the guards go inside the house. Once inside, look for a room with a poker table on the first floor.

The card is sitting on the poker table.

The twelfth card is located within the Happy Birthday chapter. Before you board the boat, you’ll need to meet Sam who has organised a disguise for Tommy. Go inside the building behind Sam and before going into the toilet to find the unconscoius man, head into the reception area and go behind the desk.

The card is next to the cash register.

The thirteenth card is located at the harbour in the You Lucky Bastard Chapter. After chasing Morello to the harbour on the bike, you’ll have to fight off his first wave of goons. Once that’s done, you’ll need to go to the right to continue the chase.

Before you move through the area, go inside the small building on the right of this first area. Inside you’ll find some molotovs, ammo, health and the card.

The fourteenth card is located at the Lost Heaven airport during the Crème de la Crème chapter. You can only collect this card during this chapter so make sure you grab it.

After Tommy, Paulie and Sam chase Morello to the airport, you’ll need to fight a bunch of goons. After clearing this first area, make sure you do a sweep and you’ll find the card on some wood underneath a tower just before you head into the next section.

The fifteenth card is found inside the State Prison during the Election Campaign mission. After you’ve completed your objective and fallen through the roof, make sure you check the cells thoroughly and you’ll find your card.

Do it before you move on as you can’t gain access to the prison again outside of this chapter. It’s also easier if you silently take out the patrolling police officers first.

The sixteenth card is found during the Just for Relaxation chapter when you break into the Customs Impound. When Tommy makes his way through to the large warehouse with an open door and two patrolling guards, make sure to check the office on the top floor at the right-hand side.

The card is located on a window sill above a radiator. Make sure you grab the card during the chapter. The Customs Impound is not accessible outside of the mission.

The seventeenth card is found inside the bank during the Moonlighting chapter. When you go down into the vault, make sure you go to the office on the left right when you come off the stairs. Inside you’ll find ammo, the card and some health.

You’ll need to grab this card during this mission as you can’t gain access to the bank again.

The eighteenth card is found inside Tommy’s house during The Death of Art chapter. Before you leave Tommy’s house to go to Paulie’s apartment, make sure you check his bookshelves to find Tommy’s own card.

You can only access the inside of Tommy’s house during this chapter. Make sure you grab the card before you leave.

The nineteenth card is also in The Death of Art chapter, inside the gallery. After you make your way up the stairs and fight through some goons, you’ll come to a long corridor with Sam up ahead through a door. As you move towards him, he runs off. Keep moving all the way through the next section until you come to the window sill.

The card is sitting on it. Make sure you kill the goons first though, otherwise they’ll kill you. And you can only get inside the Art Gallery during this chapter.

The twentieth card is located inside Bertone’s Motorservice. This is the mechanic you deliver the race car to in Fair Play. Once you can free roam, head here and go inside. You’ll find this card on a table.

The twenty-first card is located on the eastern island at its western edge. Underneath the rail bridge, you’ll find this card sitting on a ledge.

The twenty-second and final card is located on the other side of the river from the twenty-first card and south. It’s on Central Island just north of Marshall Bridge, down along the water, looking across to the main bridge joining the two islands.

And there you have it. All 22 cigarette cards located.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is now available.
