DOOM Eternal’s first DLC, The Ancient Gods Part One, teased at QuakeCon, full reveal coming later this month

DOOM Eternal is an incredible game. When we reviewed it, we gave it a perfect 10/10 score and said it, “demands to be played and will reward those who do with hours of video gaming at its finest.” The follow up to 2016’s DOOM, DOOM Eternal doubles down on the fast-paced killing and action.

Now, id Software and Bethesda have teased the first DLC for DOOM Eternal; The Ancient Gods Part One. The teaser was shown at QuakeCon with the full reveal happening on August 27.

The reveal will take place at Opening Night Live.

DOOM Eternal DLC

According to id and Bethesda;

Your victory over Hell’s armies pulled humanity back from the edge of extinction, but it came at a cost. An imbalance of power in the heavens requires the true ruler of this universe to rise and set things right. Wage war across never-before-seen realms of the DOOM Universe and fight against new demons in your never-ending battle against the forces of evil.

DOOM Eternal is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A Switch port is on the way.
