Marvel’s Avengers’ second War Table stream takes place July 30; beta details announced

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have announced the date of the second Marvel’s Avengers’ War Table stream. Taking place on July 30, this second War Table will focus on the Marvel’s Avengers’ beta and what players can expect when they log in.

The first Marvel’s Avengers’ War Table gave fans a look at War Zones, Thor gameplay, details on MODOK and more. We spoke to Crystal Dynamics after the War Table and you can read our interview here.

Details on the beta to be revealed during the second War Table stream include videos and deep dives into the beta as well as more insight into the creation and development of the game.

Marvel’s Avengers

The Marvel’s Avengers’ beta kicks off on August 7, exclusively for PS4 owners who pre-ordered the game. This will be open until August 9. From August 14 through 16, all PS4 players will be able to take part. Xbox One and PC owners who pre-ordered will have access from August 14 through 16.

Finally, from August 21 through 23, all PC, PS4 and Xbox One players will have access to the beta.

Square Enix has also reminded fans they’ll need a Square Enix account to participate.

Important Note: You will need a Square Enix Members account to participate in the Marvel’s Avengers BETA. We use the Square Enix Members account to validate pre-order codes and content, as well as to deliver post-launch content, like new heroes, new missions, and new regions at no cost.

We recommend that anyone planning on buying the game go ahead and register their account early, so they’re not caught in potential launch-day delays. In fact, everyone who signs up for an account will receive an exclusive Thor nameplate in the game!

Mark July 30 down in your calendars and get ready for more information on Marvel’s Avengers. The stream will be live at 3 am AEST/5 am NZST, so you may want to wait until you get up and watch over breakfast.

Marvel’s Avengers will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It will launch for PC and current-gen on September 4, 2020.
