Find out what’s in store for you in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is the next instalment in the series that, according to Ubisoft, “invented the open-world military co-op genre.” Following on from Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Breakpoint is actually a pretty different game. They share a common DNA and similar gameplay, but Breakpoint is its own beast, with new features, new mechanics and all-new ways to play.

To help get you up to speed ahead of Breakpoint’s release, Ubisoft has put together a handy video. This trailer gives you a brief overview of each of the main features of Breakpoint, what’s new to this game and what players can expect.

If you’ve played the beta, you’ll likely have noticed the changes. If not, this trailer gives you a great breakdown of Breakpoint.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

One of the major differences between Wildlands and Breakpoint is that in the latter, you’re fighting for survival and you’re outnumbered and outgunned. Breakpoint certainly makes you feel like you’re only barely hanging on and really forces you to work and think about your next moves.

Breakpoint has also embraced the games as a service philosophy and takes cues from The Division 2. implementing a loot and power system in addition to ongoing events, raids and more.

For more details check out the video. It’s a great intro to Breakpoint.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 4, 2019.
