Apex Legends’ Cosmetics include Character and Weapon Skins, Voice Lines and More

Like other free-to-play game, Apex Legends includes a wide variety of cosmetics to unlock. Apex Legends’ cosmetics include weapon and character skins, voice lines (called quips), victory poses, banner images and more.

To unlock cosmetics, players can open Apex Packs, spend Apex Coins or Legend Tokens. Apex Coins are Apex Legends’ premium currency and Legend Tokens are earned through playing. Apex Coins are purchasable in packs like in any free-to-play or mobile title.

Most cosmetics appear to be locked behind Apex Coins while only some exclusive and special items are purchasable with Legend Coins.

Each character has 40 skins available and weapons also have 40. A few weapons do appear to only have 38 skins. In additions to skins, each Legend has a range of Quips, Banners and Finishers available to unlock.

Quips are voice lines that Legends say at the beginning of matches or after getting a kill. Banners are images of the Legends in different poses which players can use to decorate their player icon. Finally, Finishers appear to be the player highlight shown when a match is won.

It appears that there are far more cosmetics than players will be able to unlock through Apex Packs. So, players will need to spend money to unlock everything.

You can check out opening an Apex Pack below.

Apex Legends is available now, free-to-play on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
