Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon Wildlands crossover this week

Ubisoft has announced that the Rainbow Six Siege Ghost Recon Wildlands crossover event will be launching this week. The Rainbow Six Siege Ghost Recon Wildlands crossover sees Valkyrie, Twitch and Caveira entering the Wildlands.

As part of Special Operation 2, Caveira has gone missing and Valkyrie has reached out to Karen Bowman for assistance. Twitch will assist the Ghosts as the track down leads leading to Caveira’s location and uncovering her mysterious past.

Alongside this special two-part PvE mission (Operation Archangel), this Rainbow Six Siege Ghost Recon Siege crossover will introduce plenty of Siege inspired content.

Ghost War will feature two brand-new Rainbow Six Siege inspired classes; Toxic and Surgeon. Inspired by Rainbow Six Siege’s Smoke and Doc, the Toxic and Surgeon classes will have their own special abilities.

Toxic can use a drone to release a cloud of poison gas and Surgeon can use a stim gun to revive teammates on the go.

Special Operation 2 will also introduce two brand-new PvP maps, Observer mode for that Spectators among you and Ghost mode; a brutally difficult PvE mode with permadeath.

Special Operation 2

When Special Operation 2 launches this week on July 25, players will be able to head to Caimanes province and tackle Operation Archangel either solo or with up to four players.

If the mission is completed before August 14, players will earn Caveira gloves. These gloves allow players to perform Caveira’s CQC moves and unlock the position of all enemies in the vicinity.

The crossover will also introduce the Rainbow Six Siege pack which allow Ghosts to be kitted out with “Luison handgun, a fully customisable HK 416 assault rifle, a head-wrapped shemagh inspired by Valkyrie and a skull balaclava inspired by Twitch.”

Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available for 67% off from July 24 through 31. Year 2 Pass holders will have “seven-day early access to the new classes, maps and Ghost mode.”
