Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend comes ahead of the release of “Operation Chimera”

A Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend is coming up this very weekend. Ubisoft has advised that across all three Rainbow Six Siege platforms will be free to play. All progress made will transfer across to the full game if the player chooses to purchase the game following the Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend.

The commencement and conclusion of the Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend slightly differ across the platforms and will run as follows;

  • PlayStation 4:    February 16 12AM AEDT – February 21 12AM AEDT
  • Xbox One:       February 16 5AM AEDT – February 19 8AM AEDT
  • Windows PC:   February 15 7PM AEDT – February 19 6PM AEDT


Operation Chimera

Following the Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend, the first content for Year 3, Season One will be released. “Operation Chimera” will include two brand-new Operators, who specialise in biohazard containment. These two Operators will come in handy when Rainbow Six Seige’s “Outbreak” co-op mode launches on March 7.

Further details on “Operation Chimera,” “Outbreak” will be revealed during the Rainbow Six Siege Invitationals which will take place in Montreal from February 16 through 18.
