Hearthstone’s newly revealed legendary card lets players take two turns in a row

Hearthstone’s next expansion “Kobold’s and Catacombs” is due for release next month. Blizzard, as it is wont to do, has been gradually revealing cards from the expansion. Earlier today, Eurogamer revealed a new legendary card that is absolutely bonkers.

Temporus is a 7-mana 6/6 Dragon with a Battlecry that reads “Your opponent takes two turns. Then you take two turns.” Once you play Temporus, it’s assumed your turn ends and your opponent then takes two turns. Provided you can survive such a late-game onslaught, you’ll then have two turns of your own.

Having two turns in a row is an incredibly big deal in a game like Hearthstone where the rhythm and mana management are incredibly important. If you play Temporus, you’d better have some pretty tight defence in play or at least a couple Stubborn Gastropods.

We’ll have to wait and see just how big an impact Temporus has on Hearthstone. “Kobolds and Catacombs” launches in December.
