Paris Games Week 2017 – Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch looks incredible

Ghost of Tsushima is the next game from Sucker Punch. The trailer shown at the Paris Games Week 2017 looked absolutely visually incredible.

Ghost of Tsushima looks like a cinematic action game that places players in the shoes of one of the very last samurai. The game is described by Sucker Punch as follows.

The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan–until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But, honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting–the way of the Ghost–as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.

No release date was announced, though it looks to be a fair way off.

Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PS4.
