Over 60 titles are coming to PlayStation VR over the next year

Sony has recently announced that there are over 60 titles for PlayStation VR scheduled for the next year. There are a handful coming out before the end of the year, but PlayStation VR Games in 2018 are going to be plentiful.

In the video above you can see GT Sport, which is out today. The VR Mode in GT Sport lets players face off against an AI opponent and race around the in-game tracks. You can also view your vehicles in VR viewing mode.

Other titles coming in 2017 include StifledThe Inpatient, Bravo Team, Skyrim VR, DOOM VFR and Moss. Both Stifled and The Inpatient are horror games, but that’s where the similarities end.

Stifled

Stifled forces players to move around in the dark. The only way to see is to make noise, either by throwing objects or speaking into the microphone. Doing so might attract the monsters hunting you though. Sounds terrifying. It will be available on October 31.

The Inpatient

Coming to us from SuperMassive Games, The Inpatient is a prequel, of sorts, to Until Dawn. Set in the 1950’s, you’re trapped in an asylum with amnesia. You’ll need to regain your memories to escape.

Playing as an amnesiac patient, players will need to find out who they are and how they got there. The decisions and actions made by the player will have an effect on the people they meet and ultimately decide their fate.

The Inpatient will be available from the PlayStation Store on November 22, 2017.

Bravo Team

Bravo Team is a cover-based FPS built around teamwork. It’s set in a fictional modern Eastern European city under siege. Players will be thrown into devastatingly intense firefights that’ll require both skill and tactics to survive.

Harris writes that the team were inspired by action movies set within warzones when developing Bravo Team. The idea was to create situations that require “quick thinking and constant communication.” There’s a physical aspect to Bravo Team too. To lean around corners and duck for cover, players will actually need to do those movements in real-life. Bravo Team is designed to be played with DualShock 4 and PS Move controllers, but is best played with the Aim controller, according to Harris.

Using the Aim controller allows players to raise their arms to view through the iron sight. They can always hold the controller above their head to blind fire.

Bravo Team will be available on the PlayStation Store on December 6, 2017.

 DOOM VFR & Skyrim VR

Bethesda is bringing two VR experiences to PlayStation VR, though sadly not Fallout 4DOOM VFR and Skyrim VR let players experience both games in full VR. Skyrim will include all DLC and add-ons too.

Both titles are coming in 2017.

Moss

Moss stars a mouse named Quill. Quill accidentally awakens ancient magic and thus has to save her uncle. It’s a magical world that requires players to manipulate the environment to make their way through the world.

Moss is coming in 2017.
