Gran Turismo Sport Guide – How to sign a driver contract and loan cars

In Gran Turismo Sport you’re able to buy vehicles with credits you earn in-game. Some vehicles, especially Grade 3 and 4, are hugely expensive. A good way to get your hands on some great cars early on is to sign a contract with a manufacturer.

The only issue is that you’ll be stuck with that manufacturer all season, but that shouldn’t really be a problem for the more casual player.

How to Sign a Driver Contract

To sign a contract with any of the manufacturers you’ll need to head into the Brand Central and then go to the manufacturer of your choice. Go all the way to the right and you should see an option for Driver Contract. Click on this and you’ll be taken through what it entails.

You’ll be offered a choice of a Grade 3 and Grade 4 car and then, after selecting them, you’ll be able to sign the contract.

With the contract signed, you’ll have access to the two cars you chose for the remainder of the season. I opted to go with BMW so I could unlock a trophy. But you can choose any of the available manufacturers.

Gran Turismo Sport is exclusive to PS4. You can read our review here.
