Xbox One X is out in less than a month. Pre-orders have been flying off the shelves as everyone is excited to get their hands on the world’s most powerful console. What exactly is the power going to get you though? We’ve compiled a list (with some help) of all Xbox One X enhanced games.
Whether or not a game will receive a patch for Xbox One X enhancement, it will receive the following;
- Improved framerate stability
- Games utilizing a dynamic resolution will hit their max resolution more often/all the time.
- 16xAF texture filtering will be automatically applied.
- Forced v-sync
- VRR compatibility (if you have a compatible display)
The Xbox One X will be released on November 7, 2017. It is the fastest selling Xbox pre-order ever, selling more in five days than any other Xbox. It comes packing;

- 12GB GDDR5 of graphics memory
- A 6 Teraflop GPU to enable 4K
- 326 GB/sec memory bandwidth
- Advanced liquid cooling and the supercharger-style centrifugal fan

- DTS 5.1, Digital 5.1, TrueHD with Atmos, PCM 2.0, 5.1, 7.1
The Power of Scorpio
Hidden inside every Xbox One X is a tiny image of Master Chief riding a scorpion. It’s a nod to Xbox’s mascot and to the codename of the Xbox One X; Project Scorpio.
The image is printed on Xbox One X’s circuit board so most people are unlikely to see it on their own console. The image below comes courtesy of YouTube channel Unocero.
If you want to see the moment in the video, it starts at about 11-minutes. Unocero was at the Seattle Campus on a tour and was able to tear down the console. It’s not the first time Microsoft has snuck Master Chief into a console. Eurogamer recently reported that the Xbox One S also has a picture of Halo’s hero inside too.
