Immortalise your farts with South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s ‘I am the Fart’ competition’

Ubisoft is looking for the world’s best farter. Yep, that’s right. The world’s best farter.

Why?

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is looking for an official fart noise and it’s going to great lengths to find it. Hence the launch of the appropriately named ‘I am the Fart’ competition. The competition runs until October 23, 2017, at which point a winner will be announced on FB, Twitter and the official website. The winner will be flown to San Francisco to visit Ubisoft and record their very own fart noise that will feature in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

The community will judge farts on the website and the top 10 finalists will be judged by a panel of experts to determine the ultimate winner.

What makes a good fart?

As it happens, just recently the CSIRO released an article titled ‘Why foods that make you fart are a good thing.’ The article states that “the production of gas means that your body is hosting the right kinds of bacteria.” What type of food contains this bacteria?

You can improve the proportion of resistant starch in your diet by eating unrefined whole grains, pulses and legumes, unripe bananas and cooked and cooled foods such as potatoes, pasta and rice.

Not only can a good fart get you immortalised in South Park: The Fractured But Wholebut it’s also great for your health. Ubisoft is definitely onto a winner here.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 17.
