Dishonored: Death of the Outsider – How to unlock the Nightingale Trophy/Achievement

Dishonored’s latest instalment — Death of the Outsider — is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Like Dishonored and Dishonored II, Death of the Outsider is a darkly humorous journey through a strange world.

Through the five chapters of Death of the Outsider, there are multiple paths to take, secrets to find and of course, people to kill; or knockout if you prefer. In this series of guides, we’ll show you how to unlock Trophies/Achievements, find secret areas and more.

How to unlock the Nightingale Trophy/Achievement

During Chapter 2, you’re tasked with infiltrating Shan Yun’s house to steal his key. The key is locked inside his safe and unlock other safes in the Dishonored this one is opened with a voice lock. Shan Yun, being a famous singer, loves the sound of his own voice so of course the safe requires his voice.

That doesn’t stop Billie Lurk from having a bit of fun.

When you reach Shan Yun, make sure you don’t kill him. At least not right away. You’ll need Semblance to unlock this trophy and it doesn’t work on dead people.

Steal his face and his voice

When you knock Shan Yun out, use Semblance and steal his face then head out of his room to his office; where the two guards were. Walk up to the safe and interact with the microphone. You’ll be given the option of singing or staying silent. Opt to sing and Billie will awkwardly warble out one of Shan Yun’s tunes.

The safe will stay firmly closed, but you will unlock the trophy.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
