Say hello to the Nazi Batman, Blitzmensch

MachineGames is obviously having a blast with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. This piece of marketing is also a part of the game and serves to build the universe of Wolfenstein for the player.

In The New Colossus, BJ Blazkowicz, has returned to a United States controlled by the Nazis. After their victory in World War II, the Nazi propaganda machine has been busy, ensuring that the normal way of life is the Nazi way of life.

General Engel’s favourite show is Blitzmensch. A piece of fascist propaganda masquerading as a children’s cartoon, Blitzmensch sees the titular hero and side kick, Fräulein Fox fight against capitalism, communism and work towards preserving ‘die Überlegenheit’ of the Reich.

These tongue-in-cheek videos, which will appear in-game, serve to show players what life is like for a defeated American people. They also help to spur BJ Blazkowicz on in his mission to defeat the Nazis and take back his country,

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 27, 2017.
