Life is Strange: Before the Storm’s launch trailer debuts at Gamescom

The prequel to DONTNOD’s much loved adventure game, Life is Strange, bearing the subtitle Before the Storm is nearing release.

Set in the idyllic Arcadia Bay three years prior to the events of the first game, players will play as 16-year old Chloe Price. Chloe befriends Rachel Amber, whom players of the first game will recognise, and discovers that her life may not be as perfect as it seems.

Family secrets, alliances and friendships will all be examined and tested in Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The launch trailer, which premiered during Gamescom gives fans a sample of this new story. Attendees at Gamescom will be among the first players to go hands-on on the show floor.

The first three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One from August 31, 2017.
