Fire Emblem Warriors has a release date in Australia and New Zealand

Nintendo announced today that the latest spin-off in the Warriors franchise from Omega Force and Team Ninja has a release date in Australia and New Zealand.

Fire Emblem Warriors is the second crossover between a Nintendo franchise and the Warriors series after the Wii U/3DS Hyrule Warriors. Fire Emblem Warriors includes characters from Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Awakening and Fates.

Popular characters including Marth, Chrom, Robin, Corrin and a whole lot more will all appear alongside one another. In addition to the standard Warriors hack-and-slash gameplay, Fire Emblem Warriors will also include the Weapons Triangle and Support Conversations which are a staple of Fire Emblem titles.

The new title will make use of existing Fire Emblem amiibo as well as the new Chrom and Tiki amiibo which will launch alongside the game. The Switch version will be available as a Limited Edition, including a three-disc OST and art cards.

A livestream of the game will occur at 7pm AEST this Friday, August 25.

Fire Emblem Warriors will be available for 3DS and Nintendo Switch from October 20, 2017.
