Hitman’s sixth and final chapter takes place in Hokkaido

Square Enix and IO Interactive have revealed the sixth and final location for Hitman’s first season.

Agent 47 will travel to the northen Japanese island of Hokkaido which will see the culmination of everything that has happened thus far. In Hokkaido, players will enter the GAMA private hospital and resort in order to take out two targets.

IO Interactive’s Studio Head Hannes Seifert explained his relief at seeing the episodic gamble pay off with Hitman. ” It was a brave decision to go fully digital episodic with Hitman, fundamentally changing how we make the game, and for us it has been a major success,” he said.

“I want to say a big thank you to all the players for making this possible! Together we’ve built and run the biggest and most replayable locations of any Hitman game and added new live content every single week since launch. And although we’re now completing season one, this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.”

Episode 6 will be available from October 31.

Hitman is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
