Dawn of War III: Meet the Wraithknight

SEGA and Relic Entertainment have been periodically releasing information on special units featured in the upcoming Dawn of War III.

Today’s unit is the Eldar’s Wraithknight. Built using Eldar wraithbone, the Wraithknight is enormous but fast. They come armed with two Heavy Wraithcannons and can be most effective when used at range.

The Wraithknight’s abilities are;

Jump

The Wraithknight jumps to a position. After landing, the Wraithknight will continue to slide forward for a distance, gaining increased weapon fire rate.

Distortion Rift

The Wraithknight creates a distortion rift at a target position. The rift expands in a radius over time, pulling enemy infantry into it. Vehicles hit are slowed.

Focused Beam

Fires a broad, long-range energy beam that deals damage to all enemies in a direction.

Dawn of War III will be available in 2017.
