Mods for Fallout 4 are finally available on PS4

PS4 Fallout players rejoice as you’re now, finally able to use mods as part of update 1.8.

The update was released for all three platforms (PC, PS4 and Xbox One) but the biggest change it makes is to the PS4 by allowing mods. It’s been a long road for Falout 4 mods on PS4 with Bethesda and Sony disagreeing on the usage before finally reaching an agreement that would see mods available in both Fallout and Skyrim.

Mods on PS4 are restricted to internal assets only, which means that some of the best mods will be unavailable and there will be far fewer for PS4. Bethesda has also announced that the next Fallout 4 update will bring support for PS4 Pro.

Update 1.8 features general fixes and optimisation as well as removing the ability to rate work-in-progress mods or rating a mod prior to downloading it.

Fallout 4 is available now.
