Grand Theft Auto V has shipped 70 million copies

Take-Two has revealed that at the end of Q3 2016, September 30, 2016, Grand Theft Auto V has shipped 70 million copies worldwide.

Being one of (if not the) most popular franchises on the planet and being released across five platforms certainly helps, but the number is still astounding. It was also revealed that GTA Online continues to grow year-on-year.

GTA V is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
